On March 16th, 2012, Mimi Shewey presented a program on the Rev. C.D. and Madge Erskine. Rev. Erskine was a long time minister at the First Presbyterian Church in Sturgis. They were both active in the community as well as serving in the ministry. This program was a good time for remembering and sharing the lives of these former residents of Sturgis who meant so much to the community.

On February 17th Jan and Mark Weimer shared memories of their parents, "Lil" and Jennie Weimer. Weimer's Bakery has long been a favorite restaurant on Main Street where over the years many a coffee group has met every morning. They shared the history and memories of the restaurant and it was a fun time of remembrance.
